Sitting in a movie theater trying to watch a movie. Teenybopper babble frays my nerves until I’m screwy. Thirty paying customers have come to watch the big screen, Now are forced to suffer through the inane prattle of this preteen. Here I go, here I go, stop the show. Excuse me miss, we’re not all in your living room here so, Cut the chatter, but it doesn’t matter, She just continues with her story, so sorry I guess it’s all about you. I guess it’s all about you. It’s all about you. I guess it’s all about you. Politician businessman turns a profit from his people. Special interests rally for good law to be illegal. Everybody’s future rides the weary back of money, While Mother Nature simply wipes us off her breast and thinks it’s funny. What’s above stays above, that’s the rub. You're never gonna let us join your reign deer games cause, That’s your money, but we needn’t worry. One day you’re bound to wake the giant sleeping blindly in this country. You know you can’t hurt people all the time. You know you can’t be right all the time. You know you can’t be special all the time. You know you can’t just take all the time. You know you can’t turn a profit all the time. You know you can’t expect things all the time. You know you can’t be first all the time. We could all be something, oh yeah, It’s all about you. (X4)

Just In Love 02:54
Ten days ain’t to long to sit and wait for her call, Apparently she’s been real busy with her job at the mall. Raphael her supervisor has been working her hard, And holding mandatory meetings in the back of his car. But I’m so proud of her; she always seems to take it in stride. She even has a couple other jobs she works on the side. One day I’d like to see our love placed high on her shelf. But till then please just don’t tell me that I’m kidding myself. Cause we’re in love. Oh we’re in love. We’re just in love. Oh we’re in love. Whipped, whipped, whipped, whipped She wrecked my car, I bought her flowers, she’s yelled for hours. And she never leaves me water that is hot in the shower. I like to think deep down that people are good. Everybody says that I should leave her ass, and maybe I should. But we’re in love. Oh we’re in love. We’re just in love. Oh we’re in love. Whipped, whipped, whipped, whipped. You can’t see the reasons why her love has me hypnotized. You can’t see the reasons why her love has me hypnotized. We’re in love. Oh we’re in love. We’re just in love. Oh we’re in love. Whipped, whipped, whipped, whipped.

DeJet 03:57
You know it’s just a shame, for you to be so bored. Every day’s the same, up and at ‘em, roll ‘em out the door baby. Then it’s time to clean and maybe do some chores. Grab the kids from school, and do the washing, oh and what’s for dinner mama? (Chorus) I know this is not what you planned to do. It's true life is long but you can’t stop trying. Are you dead yet come on are you dead yet? Don’t trade your life in now, not for a safe bet. If your wings are closed well you can’t start flying. You know you’re awful tame; you used to be so bold. Now tell me what’s to blame, a little slower, just a little older baby. And then there’s time constraints, no way to reach your goals. I bet if dreams were cake you’d be happy, and I bet you’d make it happen, mama. (Chorus) (Break) (Solo) (Chorus)

Ghost 04:20
Ghost, Come out. There’s nobody watching us here. Come out. Ghost, My Love. You’ve flown away leaving me here. My Love Before this sensation retreats, I need you to walk here with me. Ghost, I Know. My sorrow is holding you here. I Know. They’ll all try to forget you now, I’ll always remember somehow. Ooo ooo ooo ooo, we were supposed to go away this year. Now you’ve gone, and left me here. The river rolls onto the sea, the reflection, it stays here with me. Ghost, Be free. I’m no longer needing you here. Be free. Though your somewhere I cannot see, just promise you’ll wait there for me.

You know just what it is that I need, To feed my soul, and help my mind to be free. Our lives are always spinning us out of control. Sweet music is there to cling to and hold. (Chorus) We’re addicted to funk, and we’re looking to party, yeah We’re addicted to funk, and we’re looking to party, yeah We’re addicted to funk, and we’re looking to party, yeah We’re addicted to funk, and we’re looking to party, yeah They say you must be cruel to be kind. If that’s your plan, baby I don’t mind. We’ve come to put the funk into your very soul. To cure the sick, and make sure you never ever grow old, yeah. (Chorus) (Chorus)

My Girl 03:04
My girl, my girl, you hung the moon. You saved my soul, you called out the tune, and Forever is a place, and affection is a world. I’ve traveled there before, and after, both with you oh my girl. My girl, my love for you is like the ocean. It’s deep and old and full of life. I loved you long before I met you. Our ways, entwined, it just feels right oh my girl. My girl, my love, Kelly I’m wading here in your sweet honesty, and If time would take its time, and leave us on this shore. I’d linger here with you, and I’d drink a thousand more oh my girl. My girl, my girl, my girl, my girl, my girl, my love, my love. I love, our love. My girl, my god, it’s been so long. It’s funny how it was you all along. And girl here’s to at least a hundred birthdays or more. It’s true, I’ll love you all my life oh my girl.

Road Rage 03:13
There was a time I loved to drive, but now that time is gone. Cause everybody’s driving around just like a child in a crowded room, With a loaded gun, trying to shoot between the people. If you miss, well then we’re fucked. You risked my life, and you didn’t even ask me. In a room, without your car, you’re not so tough, And you would never step up to me. Road Rage is in control. Road Rage, let’s fucking go. You’ve never seen a kid like me driving around these streets. So step aside and let me show you how it’s done. This is my fun; I drive top speed, even backing down my driveway. It’s a gas; I’ll ride your ass, till you switch lanes. Therefore making me the winner of the game. You know my name, we’re all the same, everybody calls us asshole. Road Rage is in control. Road Rage, I can’t go slow. That’s right Phil it doesn’t look too good out there right now. Neponset Circle’s backed up all the way to the Braintree Splits, and the 3’s are running slow in all the usual spots. Before you head out today leave your self-esteem at the door because you're gonna be cut off more times than you’d like to count, and that old lady with the blinker on for the last three miles will soon flip you off. In general, the level of courtesy demonstrated on our roadways will decline in an exponential manner, and the truth of the matter is until your GPS system learns to drive. You ain’t going anywhere, friend. FUCK! (X15) Road Rage! (X4) So learn to drive, keep me alive, let me go slow. I’m drinking coffee and I’m texting on the phone. I’m not alone, there’s more like me, and we’re just not watching for you. You own a car, your not a star, in fact, your plain. You only feel more special when you drive insane. And that’s ok; it’s your right to die. Just try not to take me with you. Road Rage! (X8)

Stoned, on the phone, home bones jones. Because I need some more. Score! Out the door, it’s a chore for sure. But it’s the cure that I am looking for. It’s light but it’s bright, and it will get me through the night. It’s not right, I might gripe, but by sight, it’s not shwag. Shit, I can smell it through the bag. Let’s pay this $50 tag; let’s get the evening on the way. Raise your hands so I feel ya. Allafunksensimillia Smoke them blunts with a beer. Allafunksensimillia yeah! It’s a draught, none about, mouth shouts out. For some sherm to make me squirm. I have learned that to earn things that burn. The concern lies in waiting your turn. One day I dare say we will go to the store for our hay. Which is wrapped by the way, but till then. We must buy through our friends who we meet through our friends. Let that funk never end. Raise your voice so we hear ya. Allafunksensimillia Smoke them blunts when we’re near ya. Allafunksensimillia yeah! Raise your hands so we feel ya Allafunksensimillia Smoke that grass without fear. Allafunksensimillia yeah!

Consider this. Everything we do and everything we say starts as a tiny electrical impulse in our brains. If the organic body is all that is left when we die, could this spark be our soul? Consider this. There is a finite supply of electricity in the universe. You can’t destroy it, or create more. Energy can only change its form. Could this invisible dimension that surrounds us be the afterlife? Consider this. Atmospheric electricity may be a collective unconscious. When a new body is created energy is pulled from this well and paired with a physical form. Could our bodies be a spacesuit?

The Maze 03:58
We are rarely seen, we who pull the strings. We are on your side. We control your mind. Everyday I’m just stuck in the maze. I got the Bluetooth, I got the 401K. I’ve got the cubicle that everybody’s talking about. But there ain’t no cheese in this maze Yo, I gotta get out. Now bus’it. We are quite aware when you’re not in your chair. We devour dreams. Please email your screams. Hit the Snooze till it’s quarter of five, then begins another long day of being alive. Clean up and don a suit, or some pants if it’s a Friday, then I pull into the parking lot at work as late as always. Creep to my cube and I pawn off my work, check my inbox; drink some coffee, which I’m sure is made of dirt. There’s some goodies in the break room and the meeting starts at ten, never mind that look busy coworker cause here they come again. Now bus’it. We are very pleased; the future’s bright indeed. Work’s been shipped overseas. You’re now obsolete.

Soldier Song 07:36
And I’m seventeen. Every family male’s a Marine. Destined to serve our country’s dream. And I just want to make them proud. Declare allegiance right out loud. Vow to protect the crowd. But even as I learn to fight, I’m still not sure our cause is right. And as I watch my brothers die, Will I still believe in Semper Phi? (Chorus) And to show we appreciate, Every soldier’s life at stake, Every chance you’re forced to take. (You’re staying alive, and you're holding the line.) For every hour spent in silent fear, Every homeward longing stare, Every mom/child/friend at home who cares. Thank you. Thank you. And I’m twenty-three, Everyone says she looks like me. But they’re both across the sea. I just want to be right there. Run my fingers through her hair. So she knows daddy cares. As I walk down these streets. The different faces that I meet. Unpleasant things I have to do. But every step leads back to you. Chorus And as I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. And ease this guilt I try to shake. For every life, I’m forced to take. And I’m thirty-five, just barely alive. With no lack of sunshine. Ain’t it good to be alive. At least I get to die outside, under foreign skies.

There's an old man sitting over there. With his hands between his knees. Won’t you ask him what his story is, oh please? He would smile for a while, Before telling you his tale. He goes back some time in his mind, oh yeah. He sees a man dancing In rags so fine. And he would dance like a pantomime. With actions so alive. (Chorus) He would dance for money. And he would dance for food. He would dance to the rhythm for a smiling child. And he would dance for you. Can you see him dancing? While minstrels play their tune. He would tell you of a time. Of kings and knights and gold And of maidens of the purest breed The times of old In his glory, he would fly On the music of old And a woman every night for him to hold He sees a man dancing. In rags so fine. And he would dance like a pantomime. With actions so alive. (Chorus 2X) Can you see him dancing? While minstrels play their tune.
